Hes also a solid 200 IM prospect and might wind up developing as a 200 backstroker or 200 flyer as his third event. Nicholas going 47.4 in the 100 fly is no joke thats among the best times in the entire class in this event. He may project best as one of these 200-specialists were starting to see rise around the NCAA guys who dont specialize in one stroke so much as one distance. There hasn't been in-person recruiting . You could argue that hes the best all-around IMer in the class over Lucas, sitting about a second faster in the 200 and a second slower in the 400.
